Briefing

NORINCHUKIN Bank, the unlisted central bank for Japan's agricultural and fishery cooperatives, plans to increase its capital by as much as 2 trillion yen (S$33.75 billion) to make up for huge losses on investments, the Nikkei financial daily reported.
